Pooja Kalai is a design research practitioner in textile science, health and sustainibility and spread an awarness about ethical sustainable materiality usages. She hold master of Design in Apparel and textile from NID, National Institute of Design, and bachelor of design in fashion design from NIFT, Chennai. She is specialized in functional apparel (maternity wear). She have 5 years of work experience in apparel retail industries and craft sector. Started her career as product development designer under NCDPD (National Center for Design and Product Development, New Delhi) and worked for 3 years as Executive Maternity Wear Designer with Mahindra Retail Private Limited, Mumbai.
