The #ISDIWelcomeWeek began with some amazing workshops where Students had a gala time. A unique dance workshop encouraged the students to settle in and groove on. Then there was a bridging the gap workshop where the students worked in teams and helped one another making it a perfect team-building exercise.

he participants were divided into themes and sub-themes each group created garments that were showcased on the grand runway in a scintillating Fashion show. ‘awesome’, ‘outstanding’, ‘dream come true’ and ‘best experience of my life’ were just some of the superlatives used by participants and guests!

Our 3rd Year Product Design students went on a six-day study tour to Bhuj, Gujarat. They experienced the life of people and participated in various workshops like carpentry, metal forming techniques, design & many more. The students had a really great time interacting with the locals from the rural parts of Bhuj, Gujarat.

ISDI Mumbai hosted Career Cafe 2019 for the First Year Study students. This helped the students select the right career pathway. We had Mr. Ramashrya Yadav, CEO Edelweiss to inspire the young minds.

Bhuj Crafts Study Tour.
The Crafts Study tour to Bhuj was an incredibly rich, immersive experience for the Sophomore and Junior year Fashion Design students. Not only did they get hands-on experience in crafts like Rogan Art, Copper bell-making, lacquer work and leather craft, they also learned about the rich creative communities of Kutch through the museum and market visits.

Sara Taylor & Antony Dixon from Arts University Bournemouth visited ISDI Mumbai They interacted with the students about MakeUp and prosthetics in Media & Performance.
Our students are getting preferred masters progression opportunities from AUB.

ISDI students and faculty crossed borders of innovation, education & collaboration.
Our students visited the HKU University of the Arts Utrecht for an Imaging tomorrow program. The students were given 3 real life challenges for 3 different clients. They came up with some brilliant ideas and the entire session helped them a lot.

The 7th edition of The Park Hotels with Elle Decor student contest aimed at identifying new generation of designers across various disciplines and gave them an opportunity to showcase their work at the #InteriorDesign symposium held in Delhi. We are proud to announce that the winners in the Interior Design category are our own Senior year students – Reha Kothari and Spandana Joshi.
