The Indian scenario of wheat crop waste manag1ement and understanding ceramic clay in products, tiles and bricks gave us the inspiration to achieve a bio degradable material to support building systems in vernacular and semi vernacular regions of India.
Water proportions, difference of range in straw, proportions of straw clay mixture are the varying factors for the pallet of materials built.
Materials – Ceramic Clay, Wheat Straw
A concoction of wheat straw and ceramic clay which composes a pervious building block altering heat entering the space and good breathability allowing air to permeate through without moisture penetration.
