The banking system in India is evolving but it is evolving with regulations and technology, not with people. The generation of today is fast, connected and highly transparent. They expect the same from their bank. Why must they wait in line if most of their money is online. Hence through research a need for a completely digital bank has been validated, specially to cater to the generation that craves freedom, reliability, speed and transparency. The “generation – Y” is still bound to the banks their parents use and moreover, the accounts their parents opened for them. Times are changing and the youth of India are financially independent, many earning and sustaining by themselves even before the pass the threshold of legal age of owning an account. They earn, spend and manage money digitally. The traditional banks are still transitioning into the new system but with same old strategies. The new generation craves a new bank which is digital, which understands their other new needs. This is BANK.NOW, a digital bank focusing on User Experience.
